gadgetsAccurate IP Clock Large and Bright LED display viewable from 50 M Low cost of installation – no mains power required.

DSP Design Limited annouced the release of the revolutionary OnTime™ digital clock from Inova Display Systems (IDS) in Charlottesville, VA.

This attractive, contemporary architectural clock is packed with the latest technology for easy installation on a local area network in corporate offices, public and institutional buildings, schools, hospitals, government and military facilities. The OnTime™ clock plugs into an Ethernet jack on a local area network – no AC plug is required, so installation is inexpensive and it’s easy to move clocks around.

Power is supplied over the data wiring using the IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet standard, the same power source as Voice-over-IP telephones.

The OnTime™ clock is highly accurate, and gets its time updates automatically over the network. It requires no specialized software – control one clock or hundreds from any PC on the network with a simple telnet session.

The OnTime™ clock will find an existing Simple Network Time Protocol server on your network, or you can set up a new one. It is attractively packaged in a stainless steel, powder-coated aluminum, or textured plastic enclosure.
